- Always keep gun pointed in a safe direction
- Always keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot
- Always keep the gun completely unloaded until ready to use
- Please pick up you hulls at the end of your round.
- Shell and Load limits: 8 or 9 shot with a velocity under 1300 fps.
- A single shotgun may not be shared by more than two people.
- Eye and ear protection is required by all persons at all times. Eye protection shall be ANSI Z87 rated or prescription glasses.
- Keep your breech open except when on station shooting.
- Do not put shells in any part of the gun until you are actually on the station.
- Load only one shell at a time, except on doubles. Never more than two.
- If round, for any reason, is not completed unload gun before exiting station.
- Station 8: all shoot high house in order, then low. Shots must be fired prior to target reaching center stake.
- One shot per target.
- All shells must be checked at range house. No un-tagged shells will be allowed on range.
- You may observe targets only before lead-off shooter fires first shot.
- When not participating in a round chamber must be open and chamber flag inserted.
- No alcoholic beverages.
Age Restrictions
- 18 and older unaccompanied.
- 11 years with parent/guardian within arm’s reach.
HW Training Center and Gun Range does NOT allow defense shotguns on our skeet range. This includes shotguns with any of the following features: barrels under 22″, pistol grips, rail systems, optics or detachable magazines.
